Credit Rating Relations Role - BFSI (1-3 yrs)

The Mumbai corporate office based Analytics team reports into the senior management. The team handles a wider set of responsibilities beyond that of core analytics and also doubles up as the CEO's office devising and driving operating strategies. Key areas within the team are:

- Financial projections and budget setting - Credit ratings

- Loan analytics and portfolio monitoring - Investor relations

- Cross-sell, up-sell and digital strategy - Securitization

- Special projects

Ratings: Being a non-deposit taking finance company, our client relies on external borrowings to fund its loan book. The company's long-term and short-term debt ratings are key determinants of the company's cost of borrowing. The analytics team manages rating agency relationships and is responsible for the company's entity/ issuer ratings. This involves continuous engagement with the rating agency in the form of quarterly meetings and presentations; providing data at regular intervals and facilitating branch and customer visits. The analytics team manages relations with 5 domestic rating agencies and 3 international rating agencies, working with each for ratings at the company level (entity ratings). Industry and peer group analysis - Liasoning with all teams in the company to be the single point of contact for data movement between management and teams

Special projects: As the CEO's office, the analytics team contributes to strategy formulation and driving these strategies. The team also drives important projects that the company undertakes. For example, the team was tasked with driving Indiabulls Merger application with various regulatory authorities.

Roles and Profiles we are recruiting for:

Credit Ratings

A CA or an MBA with one to two years- experience. Domain experience with a bank or lending institutions is a pre-requisite. The applicant is expected to be conceptually well-grounded in the preparation and interpretation of financial statements. The selected candidate will be responsible for complete management of rating agency relationships.

Key Requirements:

- Attention to detail, proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, keen analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact successfully with senior management

- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and successfully manage tight deadlines with a professional demeanor

- Proactive and diligent and able to partner with other teams to resolve issues where necessary

- Ability to manage a heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks

- Willingness to learn and proactive in exploring new areas relevant to current business. Take initiative in completing tasks that are assigned
