Credit Manager - SME Loans - NBFC (5-10 yrs)
We have an urgent requirement for a Credit Manager SME loans for a NBFC Client in Chennai.
Requirements are :
- Credit underwriting of SEG / SME loans from multiple markets.
- Effective use of technology to underwrite the loans.
- Provide inputs for refinement of the credit appraisal process, model and technology
- Lead inputs for Credit Analytics implementation
- Guide the Sales team on credit aspects of SME lending
- Monitoring of portfolio - through the use of an early warning framework
- Work with Sales and Collections team for the overall health of the portfolio
- Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls
Desired Candidate Profile :
- 5-10 years of experience in MSME Credit Underwriting
- Must have handled SEG / SME clients with turnover ranging from 5 CR to 50 crores per annum
- Experience of both secured and unsecured loans
- Must have worked with an NBFC, Small Finance Bank or Bank in the area of SEG / SME Lending
- Must have strong analytical skills and risk management skills.
- Must have a strong understanding of credit risk, fraud risk and should ideally have strong intelligence network into the local market
- Experience of handling bad accounts and NPAs would be an added advantage
- Should have personal experience of interacting with collection teams
- Should be comfortable with using technology
- Must be business friendly and have a problem-solving approach
- Comfortable with all documentation pertaining to loans, collateral, guarantees,
