Reviews/recommends credit proposals to appropriate higher authorities/credit committee and helps them in decision making.
- Adheres to the key parameters like Productivity, Cost etc, and ensures targets are met as per agreed by the Unit Head.
- Ensures portfolio quality, reviews policy, process and portfolio, and suggests corrective action.
- Maintains superior underwriting standards.
- Propagates usage of digital channels to ensure underwriting is done in effectively and in lease possible TAT.
- Clears up all audit queries within the acceptable time frame.
- Identifies technological changes required in the overall underwriting system and get the necessary efficiency built up through respective team.
- Manages all Escalation and responds to the relevant stake holder.
- Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department and provides mentoring for high potential talent in the team.
- Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the department.
- Develops talent within the department by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals.
