About Role:

The incumbement will be responsible for overall administration & operational responsibility of the credit function by developing robut policies, products and processes that are competitive and inline to the market and customer requirments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand corporate strategy & develop credit policies in line with overall strategy

- Developing appropriate policies including defined workflows as well as forms, templates, calculators etc aiding the team to work efficiently

- Ensuring process standardization is achieved by monitoring the credit policies and practices are carried out across all branches in a similar manner.

- Understanding challenges to reengineer processes including technology adoption for improving process efficacy, while collecting feedbacks and suggestions from the team as well

- Working with cross functional team to improve the process (technical and legal) with a view to improve customer experience from fulfillment perspective

- Working with subject matter experts (SME) for policy formulation and or re-engineering whenever required

- Monitoring high value proposals and carrying out underwriting as and when necessary

- Analyzing and identifying patterns in credit proposals including product portfolio and delinquencies/NPA etc for the disbursals to re-architect product features

- Continuously monitoring the product portfolio and performance of each product

- Managing escalations/deviations in the credit appraisals from the credit team from time to time

- Monitoring the credit audit teams to understand the deviations and challenges to chalk of necessary action plans

- Planning, monitoring, reviewing and ensuring the team members are achieving their monthly targets without compromising on the quality of the files/proposals

Candidate Requirement:

- Graduate and Post-graduation/MBA/CA preferred

- Training/Certification in financial analysis/risk management preferred

- 18+ years of experience in the home loan/non home loan/construction finance products/related company with a minimum of 5 years at the leadership role
