Associate Product Manager

Job Description :

- The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the Associate Vice President - Product, to plan and deliver product features and functions to meet prioritized objectives for the benefits of business.

- To be successful in this role, the candidate should have previous experience in end-to-end product development.

- The candidate will work with stakeholders from across multiple Credit Fair lines of businesses and functions to manage the product roadmap and align it to business needs.

- The main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations, and improving overall user experience.

- Ultimately, the candidate will work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer & merchant satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Gather and communicate requirements to ensure development team understand problem statements so they can propose solutions

- Collaborate with development team to understand and present demand requirements for delivering functional solutions

- Demonstrate the value of demand items and be able to prioritize effectively

- Prepare and own backlogs

- Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience

- Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps

- Create support and training documents for internal and external users

- Develop cohesive working relationships with stakeholders

Requirements & Skills :

- Good domain knowledge of Financial Products and Services. Knowledge of Credit Underwriting, Collections, Operations & Customer Service will be added benefit

- Strong experience in managing user experience, design thinking and user acceptance testing, both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment

- Extensive hands-on experience in planning, testing, and defect tracking skills including using a variety of tools such as JIRA, Trello, Confluence, etc.

- Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Outstanding knowledge of technology and digital product management

- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels

Experience & Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role

- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, computer science, or similar field

- Experience of managing products through their lifecycles

- Certification in Product Management
