Job Title : Credit Analyst - International Public Finance

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated professionals to support Global Credit Analysts in monitoring and tracking the performance of a portfolio of credits, responding to credit events, and providing in-depth financial analysis. Proficiency in French or German is mandatory, as the role involves working with international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Domain Expertise & Functional Responsibilities:

- Support Global Credit Analysts in tracking and evaluating credit performance across a portfolio.

- Monitor International Public Finance (IPF) sector dynamics, including regulatory trends and macroeconomic factors.

- Conduct sector-specific analysis, covering various asset classes, economic fundamentals, revenue and expenditure trends, and competitive positioning.

Assess financial performance, including:

- Accounting, financial governance, and policies

- Financial ratios and liquidity assessment

- Off-balance sheet debt, including pension liabilities

- Profitability analysis and peer benchmarking

- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.

- Prepare internal credit notes and research reports.

Process Adherence:

- Ensure adherence to standardized processes in credit assessment and reporting.

- Maintain and update knowledge repositories through documentation and operating manuals.

- Comply with all organizational policies, including confidentiality, compliance, and information security guidelines.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and stakeholders.

- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience :

- MBA (Finance) from a premier institute (IIMs preferred) / CA / CFA / Bachelor's or Master's in Economics.

- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit research, or financial analysis, preferably in global markets.

- Proficiency in French or German is mandatory, as the role involves frequent interaction with international clients.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Strong understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and credit evaluation.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French/German.

- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a solution-oriented approach.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to align analysis with client expectations.

- Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive attitude.
