Purpose of Job

To support Corporate Banking with Quality analysis of Credit Applications / Annual Reviews / periodical performance statements to ensure that the Quality of Assets remain pristine and generally to undertake such other work as are necessary to optimize revenues for the Bank while ensuring compliance with Regulatory as well as infernal guidelines.

Main duties:

- Prepare credit applications in the prescribed format along with spread sheet and other details required for submission to the appropriate authorities for adjudication.

- Monitor borrowers compliance with credit terms on ongoing basis; identify and advise early warning signals, conduct periodic valuation of collateral

- Conduct periodic review / monitoring of the Corporate Portfolio to maintain credit quality and advise initiating remedial action for the assets showing sign of weakness / delinquencies.

- Maintain appropriate records for ensuring completion of Annual Reviews in timely manner.

- Conduct periodic performance reviews of accounts and put it up to Head - Corporate Banking for final disposal.

- Conduct periodic review of stock statements to ensure that the borrowing are within the overall sanctioned limits or drawing power

- Responding to queries raised by HQ on various borrows! Accounts.

- Assisting RBI / HQ / Statutory Auditors in smooth conduct of audit.

- Obtain external ratings for the borrows | accounts and ensure that the ratings remain current at all times.

- Maintain liaison with other lending Banks to have updated information on the borrowal account.

- Interact regularly with other officers of the branch to be well informed of the activities in the account and alert Head-Corporate Banking in case of an concern

- Perform performance analysis based on quarterly financial statements and put up to CCB for review.

Authorities & Level of Decisions Required Within assigned Limits

Essential Qualifications/Experience Required

- University degree or post-graduation

- Professional qualifications In Banking Management / Law / Risk or

- ACA / ICWA would be an added advantage;

- Min 5 years exp in Banking Industry (specialist in Credit Analysis) broad based experience In Baking with 4 years In credit

Daily Activity List - 

- Review / renewal of credit facilities.

- Writing Credit Applications, including carrying out changes suggested by Credit Risk / Country Manager.

- Collating information from various sources - Customers, Banks, Internet, etc. for credit analysis.

- Going through various Credit reports / Analyst's Report for use in Credit Applications.

- Reviewing Stock / Book-debts Statement of borrowers availing working capital credit facilities and calculate Drawing Power on a monthly basis.

- Monitoring timely repayments in the loan accounts.

- Interacting with other Departments of the Branch / Operations to be well informed of the activities in the customer accounts, understanding utilization levels, high value transactions carried out, etc.

- Escalating critical issues observed, if any, in the day-.to-day operations in the borrower accounts.

- Quarterly review of Financial Statements and submission to appropriate authorities.

- Giving leads to marketing teams for Deposits / Other business.

- Review Credit Bureau/ other reports for identifying Early Warning Signals.
