Finance Team Member- Asset Liability Management & Management Control

Asset Liability Management :


- In-depth understanding of Liquidity standards prescribed under Basel III and other regulatory framework.

- Preparation of ALCO Agenda & Presentation, ALCO Action Points & Minutes.

- Catering to adhoc requirements related to ALCO

- Comprehensive understanding of Structural Liquidity Statement framework and computation.

- Measuring the cash flow mismatches at different time bands on residual maturity or projected future behaviour of assets, liabilities and off-balance sheet items against its prudential limits.

- Providing early warning signals of impending liquidity problems to top management

- Computation / Monitoring and analysis of the Liquidity Ratios

- Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)

- Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)

- Monitoring of Contingency Management Triggers and Contingency Funding Plan.

- Interest Rate Sensitivity Statements (TGA & DGA)

- Monitoring of Earnings at Risk (EaR) & impact of change in interest rate on Market Value of Equity (MVE).

- Analyzing Concentration risk of liabilities profile.

- Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR)

- Implementation and up gradation of Liquidity Risk system, Reports: MIS reports implementation & validation

- Handling of queries from various stakeholders e.g. RBI/Auditors etc.

- Analyzing, monitoring and reporting the liquidity risk profile to ALCO Members

- Submission of data on Liquidity Risk under RBS, review and analysis of the variations.

Management Control :

- Analyzing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends in P&L lines

- Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products/functions

- Perform the Front Office PL vs Accounting PL reconciliation

- Providing financial support to Business/Functions and assist them in decision making

- Preparation of various Reports to support the Management needs and ensuring timely adherence to deadlines

- To coordinate with various stakeholders to right align the headcount, dollars and business structure within reporting systems periodically

- Preparation of monthly Management packs, review decks and getting into discussions with Finance Management, as necessary

Budgeting & Forecasting Process :

- Working with stakeholders to create and review monthly and quarterly outlook and annual financial plans, including reporting and analysis to explain changes against given baselines

Month End Oversight activities :

- Perform the Front Office PL vs Accounting PL reconciliation

- Submit the monthly P&L Analysis, RWA's etc.

- Performance commentary

- Support various teams with key Management reporting as and when required

- Working as part of a diverse team spread across the region, interaction with a wide range of people including Regional Finance
