About Credenc:   Credenc is a startup at the confluence of education and finance technologies. We aim to disrupt the education loans industry by deploying technology to reduce inefficiencies in the lending process as well as by enabling financial institutions to process more and more education loans by helping them with alternate credit scoring models.   Our fundamental belief is that providing access to finance for education is the most sustainable way of encouraging people to enhance their skills by investing in education and thereby increasing their employability. We have raised seed fund from marqee angel investors within the Indian startup ecosystem   Role :   This is a core team role with considerable exposure to top management and say into company level decision making. We are looking for responsible individuals with experience in risk modeling for retail loan portfolio. Ideally, the candidate should have at least a couple of years of experience in Risk modeling at a Bank/NBFC/Credit Card company. Key responsibilities would include:   - Structure data acquisition to set up the credit model. Lead data acquisition from online and offline sources  - Build credit risk model and fine tune the same over a period of time  - Work with credit operations team to institutionalize policies and processes based on the credit model.  - GARP / FRM certification is good to have
