Credenc is a startup at the confluence of education and finance technologies. We aim to disrupt the education loans industry by deploying technology to reduce inefficiencies in the lending process as well as by enabling financial institutions to process more and more education loans by helping them with alternate credit scoring models. Our fundamental belief is that providing access to finance for education is the most sustainable way of encouraging people to enhance their skills by investing in education and thereby increasing their employability. With ever increasing cost of education, there is an urgent requirement to solve the problem of access to finance for education. Our vision is to leverage technology to significantly increase education loan penetration in India.

The selected candidate will be required to :

Working closely with the co-founders on everything ranging from strategy and planning to special projects and executive coordination. This is a key role that impacts all areas of the business - you will be working with team members and leaders, both internal and external. You will have the ability to directly impact and improve decision and processes, and your work will increase the speed and efficiency of execution throughout the company

- Leading the initiation and execution of new strategic initiatives

- Managing multiple stakeholders, coordinate across businesses and departments to get work done

- Responsible for managing the fund raising process for the company

- Manage relationship with lenders and assist in raising debt for the company

- Leading the strategic alliances for the company

Requirements :

An ideal candidate for this role should have :

- At least 2-5 years of experience in Investment Banking/Corporate Strategy/Fund Raising

- Either an MBA (Finance) from a good B-School or Chartered Accountant

- Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling

- Self-directed, resourceful and comfortable with operating in ambiguity

- Good communication skills (verbal and written)

- Good presentation & analytical skills

- Lots of drive
