Job profile:

- The current assignment entails engagement with ground level research including interactions with farmers, government officials, stakeholders in rural areas, industry players involved in agribusinesses, etc.

- Manage end-to-end independent and external studies, consultancies and research projects

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to the projects

- Conduct desk review, literature review and secondary data analysis

-Undertake field visits to project locations as and when necessary

- Execute sampling framework and identifying respondents

- Manage high quality data collection with ethical standards

- Collate and analyse the data collected

- Prepare reports and presentations to be shared with the client/partners

- Contribute in writing excellent proposals in order to win the business opportunities

Desired qualification :

- Masters Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agricultural Economics/ Rural Management / Economics / Development Economics or relevant field.

- The position calls for excellent writing skills.

- Prior work experience on development related activities and project will be an advantage.

- At least 1 to 5 years work experience in relevant field is required.

- Knowledge of econometric will be an added advantage.
