Job Summary

- Creative Agri Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (CASPL), a leading research and consulting organization in Agriculture and Livestock sector (www.creativeagrisolutions.com). The organization is led by experienced researchers and professionals with extensive field experience in agriculture/agri-business and rural development. CASPL works on issues of contemporary and future importance for agricultural sector including issues of food quality, safety, farmer prices, GMOs, climate smart agricultural practices, emerging modern value chains among others.

- Our main clients include UNFAO, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, International Food Policy Research Institute, International Livestock Research Institute, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, International Maize and Wheat Research Institute (CIMMYT), USAID, among others.

- We work closely with various stakeholders including government departments (agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, rural development etc.), national and multi-national agribusinesses, NGOs and research and academic institutions

- We are looking for Research Analyst who can join immediately.

Responsibilities and Duties :

1. The current assignment entails engagement with ground level research including interactions with farmers, government officials, stakeholders in rural areas, industry players involved in agribusinesses, etc.

2. The candidate is expected to support the research work by involvement in all aspects of the project including desk review, field data collection (quantitative and qualitative), data analysis and report writing.

3. The successful candidate will also be interacting with the project partners (Government, Public, Private, donor agencies) as and when required.

4. Collect and analyze primary and secondary data in the study

5. Develop survey instrument and supervise data collection

6. Prepare draft reports/papers based on the data analysis

7. Other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills :

Master's degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Environment Economics,Sustainable Development, Statistics, Agricultural Statistics, or a very closely related field

- Minimum of 1 years relevant post-Masters experience is required.

- Skills in quantitative research methods and data analysis.

- Experience of using STATA software for data analysis.

- Fluency in written and spoken English.

- Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to work independently

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
