Coupa Software is a high-growth SaaS company and market leader in the BSM (Business Spend Management) space. We are looking for a Director of Cloud Operations to lead the Coupa Cloud platform. This role will involve developing the building blocks to scale the Coupa Cloud for our growing customer base, continue to deliver high performance and availability as Coupa expands globally, and provide security and privacy compliance with international laws and regulations. The role will involve leading and mentoring engineers and architects internally and managing relationships with Coupa vendor and customer organizations. Hands-on, self-motivated people who have a strong desire to learn, a can-do attitude, tenacity to solve problems, team players, and results-focused. Responsibilities include:

- Management of Linux machines, Web servers, Application servers, Databases

- Application and infrastructure support for customer environments

- Collaborate with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy product releases

- Drive automation to increase availability performance and reduce support demand

- Escalation point for after-hours emergencies

- Support the Sales and Marketing teams in RFPs and Sales calls

- Acquire, retain and grow talent worldwide

- Led a team of Site Reliability Engineers to manage the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of the Coupa Cloud.

- Support the team members in their personal & professional growth

- Hire, motivate and retain top talent through promotions, transfers, and new hires

- Manage a portfolio of infrastructure and reliability projects

- Develop trusted partnerships with the Development, Support, and Success teams to improve the reliability, performance, availability, and security of the Coupa Cloud and be a point of contact for escalations

- We're looking for an individual who Has a passion for excellence, is a natural problem solver, and is a critical thinker. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problems. Wants to work in a collaborative and supportive work environment Is experienced in managing an Enterprise SaaS application

- Has significant incident, change, and problem management experience, capable of performing critical questioning to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement

- Brings strong organizational abilities to demonstrate a data-driven approach to planning and decision-making. Has a strong bias for action and a focus on results

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree or Master Degree

- 12+ years of professional experience

- 4+ years of management experience

- Experience with programming using Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or equivalent

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in massive-scale web operations and operating widely deployed SaaS products.

- Experience in customer service

- Experience in leading 24X7 support cloud operations and coordinating with teams across different time zones.

- Experience in driving agile and lean practices, DevOps culture, and iterative customer feedback-based development.
