Country Sales Manager – Power Team

This position is responsible for the sales and profitability for the region served in order to achieve overall division and corporate goals.

- The TM will implement plans in the territory that results in the expansion of existing products and customer orders, plus capture new customers and new product orders thru distributors and/or direct as the case may be.

- He/ She shall be responsible for all the product lines for Power Team.

Essential Functions and Duties:

1. Demonstrate expertise in solving customer problems relative to applications.

2. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with assigned accounts.

3. Evaluate and report on distributors and key accounts on a regular basis.

4. Maintain excellent and up-to-date record systems for customer accounts.

5. Provide timely and accurate market information including information in the areas of pricing
competitive activities, products, and other items necessary to the success of area marketing strategies and programs.

6. Keep records and make reports in the area of activities and expenses, submitting them on a regular and timely basis.

7. Develop and recommend innovative ideas and tactics that will contribute to an increase in market share and sales in the assigned regions/territories.

8. Confer regularly with management on recommended sales strategies, promotions, and potential new markets. Work also with the accounts and be aware of potential problem areas with product lines in the areas of shipments, past due accounts, etc.

9. Must be able to define a problem, assess risks, and develop recommendations for action plans.

10. Must be able to deliver presentations, both written and oral.

11. Develop and manage distributor network in order to achieve sales objectives and continuously increase market share.

12. Provide technical and commercial support to distributors and key end-users and ensure that key market segments and end-users are adequately covered and serviced by distributors.

13. Introduction and promotion of all products to end-users in all potential industrial segments of the market.

14. Training, motivating and closely work with distributors and their sales team in order to achieve sales objectives.

15. Responsible for sales forecasting, identifying market needs and trends in order to fully exploit market potential in the assigned territory.

16. Responsible for achieving Company’s yearly sales objectives, conducting periodic market
surveys/analysis and engaging (with Supervisor) in periodic distributor performance evaluation.

17. Indentify, organize and manage trade shows, exhibitions, product seminars etc either directly or with cooperation of distributors.

18. Model and promote the Leadership Standards to create an environment that mobilizes empowered people to achieve business goals.

Qualifications:

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Self-motivated, highly driven and results oriented individual.

- Sound technical knowledge in the field of Fluid Power / Hydraulics. High pressure hydraulics
experience preferred.

- Excellent selling skills and sales experience in High pressure hydraulic tools products or other

- Industrial Tools and products.

- Working experience and good contacts in key Industrial sectors such as Power Plants, Shipyards,

- Mining, Construction, Steel Mills, Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical plants, Cement plants, etc etc.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

- Must be prepared to travel within India, approximately 70% of the time.
