Country Sales Manager - Building Material (14-19 yrs)
- At least 14+ years experience in Sales, Channel Management for technical products. Experience in/ with construction industry in India- would be an advantage.
- At least last 2-3 years experience with independent pan-India responsibility
- Should have managed a sales team of 20-25 young, aspiring executives.
- Defines and implements appropriate sales strategy on the Indian market and related countries, in coordination with Marketing function
- By assessing on a quarterly basis the strategy already defined, shared and implemented.
- By re-adjusting it after validation during periodic reviews with BU/BA- Management.
- By setting and sharing marketing plan and budget accordingly, and implementing them successfully.
Drives a profitable and sustainable growth
- By continuously monitoring and updating market data.
- By increasing market share in the existing markets.
- By expanding the market for existing products.
- By defining the appropriate market segmentation, the offer, and by developing relevant distribution channels for new product-offers and/or for new market segments.
- By developing and maintaining an efficient distribution channels across the territory.
- By ensuring high customer satisfaction levels with support from other functions in BU/ Group where needed. And, by building excellent relations with the customers.
- By actively launching & implementing the new initiatives defined & agreed with BU-Marketing/ BA-Marketing.
- By maintaining prices & margins in line with the defined budget.
- By building & maintaining the Company brand position in the market
Ensures organisational efficiency
- By constantly aligning the sales team and channels to the market needs, marketing plan, budget .
- By continuously assessing, providing appropriate challenges to the staff with sufficient operating space, as well as support to perform and realize their potential.
- By enhancing skills of the staff thru regular training/coaching
Guarantees compliance with budget guidelines
- By managing expenses, stock forecast in line with budget output.
- By ensuring compliance with company policies.
Contributes to increased synergies and info/experience sharing within South Asia
- By fostering the information flow within the BU as well as with the BA
- By creating a learning environment
