The opening is with a leading MNC IT company based in Bangalore
- Head the India sales business and direct the sales organization to achieve volume objectives.
- Overall in charge for country operations.
- Plan, control and direct activities of the sales teams to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume from existing and potential markets.
- Define the sales vision and oversee execution of activities to meet the goal of increasing the topline.
- Develop sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, product profitability, and market share.
- Ensures sales strategies and plans are consistent with the company’s long-range strategic objectives.
- Oversee the establishment of sales and field support policies and programs for all field operations
- Strategic contact with critical stakeholders.
Education & Experience
- BE/BTech with preferably MBA degree from a reputed institute
- Proven track record in IT sales and being a part of turnaround / high growth business
- Experience in managing large and diverse sales teams and managing the country PnL
- Ability to understand and forecast market, business and customer trends and initiate innovative concepts and initiatives.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills
