Country Procurement Head - Pharma/FMCG/Chemical Industry

Our Client : A Leading MNC

Job Purpose : Procurement Head is responsible for setting and executing a competitive procurement strategy for all spends in the region so as to maximises values to the various businesses and activities within a leveraged and guideline with Global Procurement. The person will be a member of the Regional Procurement Leadership Team. He / She reports solid line to the Head of Regional Procurement Head ASIA CHINA JPAC.

Key Responsibility Area :

- Is accountable for achieving the savings and efficiency objectives defined for INDIA / SOUTH ASIA as resulting from the business needs and regional/global procurement

- Anticipates and consolidates all business needs at country level

- Ensures the compliance to contracts to be executed

- Propose cost cutting and right spending initiatives

- Contributes to integrate new businesses

- Deploys and contributes to each Category procurement strategy thru supply market/suppliers expertise and innovative practices

- Contribute to create new, long-term vision for the procurement organization

- Develops collaborative relationship with his/her executive customers and various business stakeholders

As part of the procurement leadership team, lead and implement the new procurement model in the various countries in synchronization with the global domain heads

Ideal Candidate :

10-15 years- experience in a Management role with proven record in term of change management. Excellent tracked record in Procurement or equivalent challenging support functions, business experience.
