- To find, develop and manage business opportunities in line with the individual XYZ Product Line strategies and in accordance with the agreed revenue and KPI targets.

- To establish the XYZ brand name in India and ensure that we maintain strong relationships with franchise partners in India.

- Establish the appropriate infrastructure in India to support the XYZ business

Responsibilities

- Create demand for XYZ products and services from the active client base and in line with the company's sales strategy.

- Provide technical and applications support associated with XYZ products and services

- Define the size and of the served available market for XYZ products in India and develop a strategy to maximise market share.

- Understand the market drivers in India and build a profile of the active projects that result in demand for semiconductors

- Build strong relationships with the local office of our franchised partners in India

- Build long term relationships with the government agencies that specify space, defence and aerospace projects

- Attend and present at XYZ sales meetings as required

- Organise and manage customer visits for XYZ staff and franchised partners visiting India

- Liaise with all relevant personnel in XYZ facilities around the world to ensure maximum customer service and resolve technical issues.

- Define, manage and support sales channels in India

Measurement Points:

- Revenue performance against an agree budget for Bookings and Billings

- KPI's associated with new customers and new business opportunities (NBO- s)

- Quote log and quote log management

- Successful completion of specific Marketing and Business Development Objectives projects

Essential:

Commercial awareness,

Technical understand of semiconductor products

Desirable Key Skills/Requirements:

- Knowledge of Aerospace, Defence or Space markets. Peopl dealing with ISRO would be given a preference.

- Import/Export regulations and ITAR awareness

- Knowledge of quality systems and procedures used in the electronics industry - e.g AS9100
