The General manager's key task is to provide the overall leadership and management of the facility and its manufacturing processes, as well as build successful marketing strategies to facilitate the needs of the business and will report directly to the Managing Director. Among other duties, his daily responsibilities will be to communicate and endorse the organization's core values, strategies, and objectives and to develop business plans and budgets supporting the company- s targets. To also evaluate and implement marketing strategies, guiding managers and review all commercial matters. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering desirable but not essential. - Commercial experience and experience in chemical plants is desirable. - Industry experience in relation to PVC Pipe Plants is desirable. - Previous experience in Nigeria will be considered an advantage. - At least 5 years of executive experience in top management roles. Skills: Strong tactical and strategic skills, ability to motivate &amp; build high performing teams and provide reliable judgment in complex situations.
