Country Head, Compliance Assurance & Testing - MNC Bank

About our client:

Our Client is a leading MNC Bank in India.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Country Head for Compliance Assurance, the KPIs include:

- Compliance testing, assurance, & reporting programs in accordance with the plan to be developed, implemented, and executed

- Managing a team of Compliance professionals & taking care of the hiring, compensation, performance appraisals, training, etc.

- Analyzing report findings, act as a lead reviewer for complex reviews, and communicating findings to corresponding process owners

- Compliance assurance reviews and regulatory issue validation in accordance with the plan to be planned, executed, and reported

- Managing relationships with senior management executives & working closely with the regional heads of Compliance & Audit to provide assurance over the key risks for the Global Corporate Functions

- The role would directly report to Regional Head

The successful candidate should have:

- At least 14 years of experience in compliance assurance / testing / regulatory compliance / internal controls & audit

- Excellent leadership skills & senior stakeholder management

- Awareness of regulatory requirements including local and international laws, global and industry standards

- Expertise in planning, executing, and reporting on compliance testing reviews and regulatory validation activities
