Position Summary:

The Country Head & Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the overall business operations in the MENA region with a primary focus on sales and business development of oilfield chemicals. This strategic leadership role involves full P&L responsibility, leading market penetration efforts, engaging with key customers, and serving as the focal point for tender management and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & P&L Management:

- Lead the overall country operations with full P&L accountability.

- Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with global strategy.

- Drive profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Business Development & Sales:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the MENA oilfield chemicals market.

- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

- Lead commercial negotiations, proposals, and closure of high-value deals.

Tender Management:

- Act as the central point of contact for all tender processes and submissions.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and competitive bids.

Market Intelligence & Expansion:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.

- Identify potential areas for expansion and diversification within the region.

Travel & Field Engagement:

- Travel extensively (up to 50%) across the region to meet with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development of oilfield chemicals in the MENA region.

- Proven experience in managing country-level operations and leading high-performing sales teams.

- Strong understanding of the tendering process within oil & gas companies and government agencies.

- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
