Divisional Overview:

Risk Management Division in Powai has the following functions - Credit risk, Market risk, Financing Risk , Stress Testing, MVG (Model Validation Group) and RMG (Risk Methodology Group)

Functional Overview:

- Stress tests are generally used to capture risks which may not be readily identified by other risk management methods, with analysis using sensitivities and forward looking plausible scenario assumptions, for assessing the impact on P&L and exposure, and the adequacy of capital and liquidity, which are utilised or referred to when setting risk appetites and limites.es

- Stress testing is carried out on a regular basis as an integral part of group's overall risk governance and is used as a tool to assist forward-looking risk management and decision-making by enhancing communication amongst corporate functions, Business Divisions, and senior management.

- Analysis and review of scenario results, focusing on understanding behaviour of products such as derivatives, repos, and loans under scenario conditions.

- Implementing improvements to stress testing reporting information and developing new stress tests in order to provide effective key risk management information to senior management - Updating the stress testing framework in response to new regulations

- Working with other risk managers to revise or develop scenarios to review trading strategies - Overall consolidation Reporting: Monthly / Quarterly to senior management and regulators - Satisfy the regulators scenario requests and other infrastructure and control requirements

Position Specifications:

Experience-2 to7 years of experience

Qualification - Bachelors or Masters with finance/ statistics/engineering/math/science from a reputed institute

Roles and Responsibilities:

Counterparty Credit Stress testing performs the following functions:

- Define and implement a comprehensive stress testing framework (mainly for counterparty credit risk).

- Generation and Analysis of Counterparty credit stress report under various scenarios including Climate risk change for regulatory requirements.

- Streamlining of scenario execution processes and potential areas of improvement in coordination with respective Methodology, IT and CRM teams.

- Enhancement of stress testing framework to satisfy various requirements from senior

Other desired skills:

managements and regulators.

Skills required:

- 2+ years of experience in the system development project (not limited to capital market area). - Good understanding of project management (scheduling, task control, issue management and quality control etc).

- Proficient with MS office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).

- Experience of Power BI

- Python programming skill and SQL experience.

- Good understanding of Financial instruments such as Derivatives and Repo - Good understanding of Counterparty Risk in Basel 3 accords

- Detail oriented, results driven, and capable of navigating in a quickly changing and highly demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Other desired skills:

- Experience in Counterparty Risk or Climate Change risk or Stress Testing is beneficial.
