Cost Controller - Projects & Fixed Assets - Construction/Infra

Role

The Controller ensures accurate costs control for Projects for all India entities of the Cleantech Group and contributes to accurate capitalization.

Location - Mumbai, India

Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : 

Project Costs Controlling : 

- Maintain project costs schedules to accurately capture project spend

- Verify POs and organise invoicing for Sales of Equipment

- Provide payment forecasts for ongoing projects

- Verify and approve claims from project vendors

- Check all concluding projects for outstanding claims to be accrued

Fixed Assets : 

- Prepares final project costs schedule concluded project for capitalisation

- Verifies entries into accounting system prior to creation of fixed assets

- Ensure proper capitalization of fixed assets

- Ownership of the Fixed Assets Register

- Reconciliation of Inventory

Reporting Lines : 

To: Senior Manager

Candidate Requirements :

- 3 - 5 years of experience in Project Cost Controlling and/or Fixed Assets Accounting

- Working knowledge of ERPs - experience in MS Dynamics NAV highly regarded

- Self-starter; detail-oriented, meticulous, dependable and trustworthy

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work in fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

- Be willing to travel within India 10-15 days in a month
