Cost Controller - Building Material - ICWA

A leading business house in building material in Delhi is looking for a COST CONTROLLER for their corporate office in DELHI:

The incumbent should be a qualified COST ACCOUNTANT :

- The company is a versatile manufacturer and marketer of Interiors Solutions with a wide array of products for homes, offices, commercial and public areas. The company is expanding its reach globally and its products are exported to countries in North and South America, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Africa.

Job Objective :

- This position is to maintain & administer effective Financial Planning for Manufacturing, Commercial, Job Objective and corporate function for the group.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Costing Framework :

- Device a complete costing framework for all the Business Units of the company

- Maintain the necessary SOP and ensure standardisation of the costing methods

- Implementation of BOM and costing runs periodically

- Implementation of the Routers to capture various overheads

- Set up the rules for the revisions and variance tracking.

- Institute MIS of costing to be circulated by respective locations

Cost Accounting & Audits :

- Maintenance of all standard costing system in line with the Corporate Budgets

- Drive the correctness of BOM & Routers

- Improvement in the accuracy and reporting of the standard costs

- Analysis of the Material Usage/Price and related variances

- Variance Reporting ; Carry out the Variance analysis

- Nature of elements

- Productise, Itemise and Brand wise.

- Analysis of the Material usage, price and other variances for each BU.

- Raise flags for any operational risks and opportunities

- Detailed Brand wise, product wise, Item wise cost statements

- Cost Improvement initiatives

- Driving Cost Agility Projects

- Tracking various plant KPIs

Cost Audit and Reconciliation :

- Maintenance of all the necessary records and the supporting data in line with the statutory norms

- Reconciliation of the Product costing with the overall consumption and cost records.

Key Attributes :

- Work with key stakeholders to help articulate solutions and develop expertise in building on, including, but not limited to - financial analytics, market analytics, competitor analytics

- Champion in building a strong FPA competence and implementing resilient processes and the expertise to implement and initiate a strong analytical oriented FPA team

- Driving process changes and Gather inputs from business units to formulate key strategies and recommendations on how to best drive the growth and profitability to the existing business

- Make sure all team members are provided with a proper and fair work environment
