Cost Accountant - Manufacturing

Our client is a 60 years old manufacturing,of automotive components manufacturers, goods transporters and car and Heavy vehicle dealership in southern India, Real estate, function plazas etc

Our client is based in Kakinada. Our client is looking for a Telugu speaking Cost Accountants.

- Candidates who have two to three years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing company and who are ready to relocate to Kakinada.

Job title : Cost Accountant

General Summary : 

- Ensure accurate update of costs on day to day basis. Timely updates of IE Info records, source list, etc. Run reports and make provision for E &O and LCM.

- Provide support for all Month end activities including GIT & Assessment Cycles. Support the department in completing all responsibilities and prepare all records and reports in a timely manner.

- Work as back up as & when required. Analysis of Costs & Variances, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Handle product cost process including calculating, reviewing and analyzing machine and labour hours, overhead costsand allocation, production rates, raw material costs and manufacturing process changes.

- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on costs

- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs

- Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures

- Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports

- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products and services

- Maintaining cost accounting systems

- Report on break-even points / profit by products, cost centres and plants

- Design and understand cost flow to determine proper job order costing

- Providing management and various departments with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures

- Assist in preparation of budgets and measure against subsequent performance

- Reporting weekly and monthly MIS to the management

- Ensure timely collection of standard data viz Bill of Material, Labour Cost and Manufacturing Overheads for each product family and segment
