Corporate + IPR Lawyer - Law Firm

One of the most reputed law firms in Mumbai is looking to hire a General Corporate lawyer who also has IP exposure.

Job Responsibility

- To work on prosecution matters, advisory work, and legal audits in the field of intellectual property (- IP- ) laws, particularly on

trade mark laws.

- Conduct extensive searches and provide opinions regarding availability of trade marks in India and abroad.

- Conduct due diligence assignments relating to corporate owned IP.

- To participate in diverse corporate transactions including private equity, structured finance, debt finance, acquisitions, joint ventures and take-overs, of a domestic and cross border nature both in India and abroad.

Candidate Requirements

- Should come with 2-4 years of relevant experience

- Relocation candidates will be preferred

- Candidates having worked in corporate and willing to do IP work as well would be preferred

- Ideally candidates should come from law firms

- Have to have very strong drafting and research skills.
