Role : Corporate Analyst

About the firm:

Start up in solar sector

Candidate's Role

1) Facilitating key management in capital fund raising and downstream equity investments into Solar PV projects

a) Preparation of Information Memorandum and Business plan for Investors

b) Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow and transaction comparable

c) Prepare Investment committee packages

d) Monitoring actual results vs investment case

2) Leading Acquisition and pipeline development

a) Identify pipeline for acquisition and greenfield project

b) Valuation analysis and negotiate contracts with potential developers / solar asset owners for closing investment

c) Drafting term sheet and investment structures

d) Support due diligence process

e) Relationship management with the investment bankers and developers

3) Contract Management for EPC and O&M Players

a) Active relationship with various Module manufacturers, EPC and OEMs

b) Negotiate and finalise Contracts with EPC

4) Financial modelling

a) Has a hands on knowledge on developing and running a financial model and scenario options

b) Ability to present financial model to articulate cash flow and risks of project

5) Candidate will have to front end and independently manage investment relationships

Candidate Profile

- 5+ year experience in leading investment bank /management consulting

- Strong excel analytics and financial modelling skills

- Experience on different valuation methodologies for downstream investments

- Experience in equity raising for infrastructure / power projects in India

- Graduate or MBA from reputed institutions (IIT / IIM or similar)
