Job Description - Manager Supply Chain/Procurement - Support Head of Supply Chain to execute Procurement and Supply Chain strategy. - Assist with new supplier identification, development, on-boarding, and new program implementation efforts. - Support the team with price, and contract negotiations and prepare Request for proposals (RFP) for identified programs. - Manage procurement of Chemical, Paper Products and Facilities Management for NPI projects. - Manage Procurement of Corporate Services - Facilities Management - IT Infrastructure Assets - Manage all key fulfillment/service level metrics (order to delivery Turn around Time, delivery %, cost/delivered, fulfillment Net Promoter Score). Research and implement cost reduction opportunities. - Manage external stakeholders like logistics partners/vendors and customers to ensure excellent customer service and lower overall cost to serve. Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions. - Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. - Actively engage with internal partners throughout the organization to meet and exceed customer expectations. - Leads and supports continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives related to Supply Chain & procurement processes for New Product Introduction. - Manages and supervises effective internal client and supplier relationships. Viewed as a leader by internal clients and suppliers. - Contributes to the development and implementation of optimum purchasing processes, procedures, and systems and the deployment of the same through written policies, procedures, training, and effective measures consistent with internal controls. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaboration with internal business partners & suppliers; the segmentation, communication, engagement, business review planning, problem resolution, and general ongoing relationship management efforts for assigned projects. Ensure that suppliers have the requested capabilities (technically, logistically and cost structure) and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Ensure all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly and make alignment between local SCM activities and the Business Unit. Lead gathering of insights from data analysis, research, intelligence, knowledge, networking, and proposals for assigned projects. Identification of business requirements and cross-organizational knowledge to prioritize, enhance collaboration and leverage the highest value opportunities in order of priority. Formulate Strategies that drive identified business strategies & objectives, achieve value delivery and to provide commercial and functional leadership for assigned projects. Articulate Business Needs to ensure the highest levels of assurance of supply, quality, service delivery, market competitive costs, innovation, and regulatory compliance. Lead Implementation of Supply Chain Strategies within the context of assigned projects to drive improvement aligned to business needs and of assigned Supply Chain Change Initiatives to improve business performance. Liaise with Business Leaders in investigation and delivery of opportunities to achieve optimum business value aligned with business strategies. Build strong relationships with business partners and ensure satisfaction with Supply Chain & Procurement services. Desired Experience/Skills : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, purchasing or operations or related discipline. 8- 12 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related field. Good at buying, negotiation, and agreement/contract administration. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage / lead multiple projects and changing priorities. Effective team leader and team participant. Able to challenge the status quo and come up with new ideas. Skilled in Microsoft Office
