Copy Writer - Advertising Firm

You are a creative thinker, writer and can present your thoughts and ideas with utmost conviction. A significant amount of experience in writing strong, succinct, and grammatically correct copy.

You challenge the status quo, and yet are flexible and willing to listen, and adapt ideas to the needs of business.You have an eye for detail, strong research skills, and a bias towards execution within timelines.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the communication objective of the campaign, brand or the idea and translate that into written copy

- Writing engaging, and brand and user-relevant copy

- Be able to work independently as well as across teams, account management, media, and leadership

- Working with the art director to devise creative strategies

- Grasp the changes communicated by the client or account management team

- Liaising with the client on a regular basis

- Generating creative ideas to build innovative campaigns

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Master's Degree in English, Business Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or Marketing

- Experience between 2 to 5 years

- A good grasp of spelling, punctuation and grammar. Obviously!

- Familiarity with different Content Management Systems

- Knowledge about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

- Get comfortable with self-promotion

- Stellar Research Skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
