Job Responsibilities :

- Devise production goals as per the business strategy for the manufacturing plants in consultation with MD, President , members of the executive team and leadership team. - Ensure Manufacturing and operations of Technical and Formulation plants - Responsible for inward and outward SCM, procurement.

- Responsible for all R&D units and ensure success of Technology Transfer operations - Conceptualise, Build, develop and commercialise CDMO capabilities, Knowledge of regulatory matters and product stewardship - Experience in product development & registrations, Business development and building strategic relationships - Ensure highest standards of safety on field and inculcate the safety culture into the workforce.

- Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.

- Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.

- Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.

- Develop a plan

- Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.

- Identify and drive business Quality improvement initiatives under TQM at various levels

- Oversee and enable manufacturing operations - production volumes as per plan and product quality - Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities and building leadership capability.

- Ensure Governance and adherence to statutory compliances, safety and environmental norms - Build infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities through Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Projects

- Plan for key operational excellence initiatives through process improvements/ quality projects etc. for the Business and drive / review execution.

- Institutionalize MIS and analytics to drive business decision making viz operational parameters, efficiencies, safety norms, pricing decisions, customer complaints, financial performance, variance of costs vs. budgets etc. - Drive adoption of Technology and leverage IT applications which will provide a competitive advantage to the business and assist in growth and sustainability

Experience Required :

20 years of experience in the role of Business head or Heading multiple continuous chemical manufacturing process industries, experience of managing/leading manufacturing locations In lead role.
