COO - Capital Market Operations

The Role :

The purpose of the role is to develop a function encompassing key strategic and operational capabilities of capital market.

- Responsible for all micro & macro activities including the strategy development, management, operation and enhancement of the existing products and services.

- Conceptualizing, designing, executing and implementing the strategies to enhance, expand and scale the business operations Pan India

- Liaise with SEBI, RBI and all exchanges and implement all compliance related processes & matters

- Need to oversee the company's overall operational processes and optimize operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximize inter and intra departmental operations.

- Oversee all governance issues related to risk and compliances

- Overseeing relationships with strategic/critical external partners.

The Person :

- 15 + years' experience in the financial services industry with at least 5 years in a leadership operations role. Capital Market experience is a must.

- Must be self-motivating having macro & micro level team building & managing experience

- Operations expertise which encompasses previous knowledge of coordinating with diverse functions such as operations, IT, back office, compliance and risk

- Must have good exposure to CRM, technology implementations and regulatory environment

- Experience in establishing and implementing policies, best practices and processes
