Job Purpose:

Responsible for setting-up of MIT WPU Online business venture from the scratch and scaling it up into a profitable business unit

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Accountable for the P&L of this business unit and its growth and scale

- Make the business venture attractive for external institutional funding or strategic investment, to enable faster pace of growth

- Setting up of various teams including marketing, product, programs and technology to achieve the projected growth and scale for the business venture

- Network with industry leaders, investors and others to aid the strategic growth of this venture

- Identify industry trends and opportunities and take business decisions to enable faster growth of this venture

- Day-to-day decisions on the programs and courses to be procured and launched, go to marketing strategy, learner experience building and eventual revenue and profitability of the venture

- To take care of the overall branding and PR of this venture in a way it helps the Brand of this business unit and also the Parent organization MIT WPU

- To establish MIT WPU Online as one of the fastest growing Ed-Tech brands/ companies of India over the next few years, in terms of no. of learners, quality of programs offered, revenue and growth scale

- Setting a team that coordinate with MIT WPU for various programs for the need of MIT WPU Online and also offering MIT WPU Online programs to the University students

- Represent MIT WPU Online in various Global Ed-Tech events and conferences to enable strong Branding & PR

- To drive various teams towards the larger vision, by setting up strong KPIs and incentive structure

- To lead and groom the next rung of leaders towards building a strong and scalable business organization

- This venture functions as a start-up and the COO operates as its head, driving this startup venture towards becoming profitable at scale, thus leading a strong business valuation

- Identify Programs based on Market Demand, Competition, Current & Emerging Industry Trends

- Plan Program Positioning & Target Audience

- Product Pricing Strategy: Outline Program Pricing based on Program Development Costs, Student Acquisition Cost, Student Life-Cycle Management Cost, Technology Costs, Training Costs etc.
