About the Role

- We are hiring for Assistant Manager role in our Finance department. At this position, you will be responsible for smooth execution of the audit (internal/statutory), while managing book-keeping & preparing financial reports and statements in compliance with government regulations and requirements.

- Strong understanding of Audit procedure and Taxation & Compliances is a must to succeed in this role. Adding to the above, you will also prepare and analyze financial reports (Balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, notes to accounts, profitability analysis) and drive general hygiene of books of accounts.

Responsibility and Deliverables

The Candidate would be responsible for including but not limited to:


- Maintaining the financial data in schedules to ensure timely availability

- Coordinating with auditors to ensure timely data delivery and closure of their observations

Taxation and Compliances

- Preparation of taxation related reconciliation before filings to ensure zero errors

- Keeping track of statutory liabilities to ensure correct and timely payment

- Keeping track of return filing and other compliances timelines

Bookkeeping and Reporting

- Jointly working with the team and ensuring timely hard closure of books every month

- Preparation of financial reconciliations/ reports on regular basis and ensuring adequacy of reconciling items

- Ensure that routine transactions are in accordance with defined approval matrices and Internal financial controls

- Prepare and submit weekly/ monthly reports for comparison of planned vs actual and month on month variances

Skill set requirements:

- 2+ years of industry experience in managing Audit and Taxation, financial reporting with good analytical skills

- Experience in preparation and reading of financial statements; practical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

- Good understanding of applicable laws and regulations and compliances requirements

- Experience of working / dealing with auditors

- Should be able to work independently without supervision, have inter-departmental discussions

- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive cross functional discussions independently

- Excellent control over MS-Excel and its functionalities


- Semi-qualified CA/ PG will be preferred

Note- Job Location- Delhi. Currently Remote due to Pandemic.
