Job Title : Investment Marketing Analyst

Contrast Capital Management LLC is a boutique hedge fund manager based in Miami and with a strong pedigree and track record. The firm was founded by Francis Claro, a senior investment professional with over 25 years of experience managing multi-billion dollar funds for top asset management firms in the US.

Contrast has built an outstanding performance track record and investment process. The firm is in an exciting phase having produced strong returns and is expecting significant growth in AUM.

- In order to support our growth, we are looking to add a professional based in Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai/Delhi/Kolkata/Chennai/Hyderabad who will work closely with our Miami, Boston and Bangalore teams in a range of areas including marketing and operations. They will be an integral part of our team and as such will grow along with the firm. Contrast has successfully employed India-based staff for many years.

- The firm currently has a Senior Analyst & Associate Portfolio Manager based in Bangalore. The role will provide a fast-paced, constantly evolving and exciting opportunity to break into a highly competitive industry and get both a broad and deep view of the investment management business. We are a close-knit team with a flat hierarchical structure that promotes frank and open discussions and meritocracy.

Job Description would include :

- Preparation of marketing materials (presentations, investor communications, attribution analysis, portfolio characteristics, benchmarks, etc.). Update investor databases. Manage social media presence.

- Drive Product Adoption : Conceptualize go-to-market strategy and design communication for product and revamp explainers for existing product features.

Expectation : Strong knack for understanding the purpose of product and the feature capabilities to create technical explainers that are very easy to understand for new users and personalized for the existing users

- Conducting market research and planning and generating leads; reaching out to potential investors to introduce the firm and set up meetings for the portfolio manager.

- Work with the US and India based portfolio managers and analysts on various research projects.

- Support operational functions such as reconciliation of returns and portfolio balances reported by prime broker with other vendors of the firm. Provide support to the firm's compliance program.

Profile, skills and characteristics required include :

- MBA from a top tier school (CFA a plus)

- 2+ years of experience in marketing with strong preference for asset management or financial services experience. Experience in engaging clients/prospects and digital marketing skills a plus

- A highly entrepreneurial person who enjoys independence, unstructured environments and quick learning.

- Strong passion for the asset management business.

- Should have strong project management skills and be able to provide clear, time bound actionables for the team to ensure high quality work

- Should have worked on crafting growth strategies for a consumer or corporate focused, digitally native business

- Ability to express thoughts clearly in written (PPT/Word/Excel/Email) and oral form. Ability to build a conversation with senior investment professionals globally by sharing details about our firm and answering any queries about our investment philosophy or return history.

- Strong quantitative skills

- History of strong work ethic, good communicator, fast learner, self-motivation, initiative, resourcefulness, and success

- Ability and desire to multi-task and work independently, helping to shape the projects being completed

- The role will enable the candidate to work full time remotely from their home. We will provide telecom, IT and any other infrastructure needed to seamlessly integrate you with our operations in the US and India. Contrast Capital's lead Portfolio Manager and a large portion of the investment prospects are based in the U.S. As a result, the role will require partial overlap with U.S. business hours.
