We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Investment Associate to strengthen the Investment Management team. Key responsibilities:
Actively lead end-to-end investment sourcing, evaluation, investment recommendation and portfolio management processes in close collaboration with the Partners.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Taking initiative to track, collate and disseminate information from news and industry reports concerning companies and industry sectors of current and potential interest for the Fund
- Review of investment memorandums, financial statements etc.
- Financial modeling / valuation
- Business due diligence including site visits
- Drafting term sheets and investment recommendations
- Coordinating financial, legal and tax due diligence
- Finalizing transaction documents
- Initiating and drafting portfolio review notes
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA from a top tier institution
- 2-6 years experience in PE/VC/Investment Banking/Consulting roles
- Good academic background with demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Excellent research, quantitative and presentation skills
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to work in a small team with good inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills
- Diligent, inquisitive, with the ability to take ownership of a task and work long hours
- Enthusiasm for meeting entrepreneurs and evaluating value proposition of start-ups within the target investment theme
