Content Writer - Fashion eCommerce (2-5 yrs)
Looking for someone with experience from good brands
Content Writer who will own the retention channel communications.(JD)
The role will include planning, producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, formulating content plans and working with cross-functional teams to deliver.
They should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content plan.
They will lead the cross-platform content efforts across formats (SMS/PNs, Mailers. Blogs, Banners, PR articles, video descriptions etc.) that aid in fostering engagement online and brand recall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Owning the monthly content marketing calendar and planning the workflow efficiently.
- Writing, editing and proofreading content.
- Liaising with the supporting teams graphic designers, videographers, photographers, digital marketing etc to chart and deliver the week on week requirements.
- Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.
- Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
- Improve open rates and CTRs on retention channel communications
- Develop content for PR and improve brand mScores
KPIS - CTR, CVR, Open Rates, Subscription
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or Fashion/Lifestyle.
- 2+ years of agency experience or in a similar in-house brand team role.
- Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly computer literate (MS Office), Wordpress, Mailchimp etc. Working knowledge of HTML will be a plus.
- Proficiency with popular content management systems and digital marketing channels.
- Experience with social media management.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
- Ability to develop content that provokes engagement and measure performance. Working knowledge of GA is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in curating fashion/lifestyle led content pieces.
