Content Production Manager - Education

Key activities & responsibilities

- Oversee the full end to end content production cycle

- Plan and organise and manage learning content production schedules

- Assess resource requirements

- Source, manage and allocate work schedules to freelance subject matter experts and content developers

- Ensure learning content and resources are developed and delivered on time, to budget ad in line with production guidelines and specifications

- Devise procedures to review and report quality assurance issues

- Review and test learning products to ensure their quality prior to publication

- Collaborate with stakeholders through each stage of the production cycle to ensure resources and deliverables align with specified quality standards and outcomes

- Adopt a learner-centred approach to improving specifications and production processes in ways that maximise effectiveness and support learner success

- Plan, schedule and oversee the maintenance and updating of the content catalogue

- Identify and communicate where revision is needed on live components in response to user data and feedback

Qualifications and Experience

- Educated to degree level or above

- Prior experience of project or production management or quality assurance, preferably in an educational context

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

- Highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong verbal and written communication

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Able to demonstrate a collaborative and results-driven approach to work

- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

- Highly reliable and trustworthy
