Content Lead - Social Media Marketing - Beauty Industry (5-10 yrs)

Hiring for a leading beauty brand

Reports to: Brand Building Lead

Reportees: Content Writers - Social Media & YT & Influencer Marketing

Purpose- To create, develop and implement engaging and extraordinary content strategies across digital and social media channels leading to achieving marketing goals.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Social media KPI's across channels - Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

2. New customer acquisition through social media and influencer marketing

3. Revenue target through effective use of social media, influencer marketing and affiliate program

4. Blog specific KPI's like blog visits, number of content pieces published, blog views, conversion rate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dissect data, develop content strategy and oversee the execution (and optimization) across digital and social media platforms including but not limited to: content portals, online media publications, social platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube

2. Develop the content framework for campaigns built on audience insights, desired storytelling, media KPIs, and brand strategies

3. Be able to articulate content strategy to brief in the Creative team, and work in partnership on the development of effective content that aligns with the brand's identity

4. Provide oversight to overall content plan including recommendation across Paid, Earned and Owned channels

5. Identify and quantify value based on the brand connection + visibility, audience relevance, scale, and media support

6. Stay informed on platform and trend updates, and actively collaborate with other stakeholders and teams both internal and external to deliver best-in-class campaigns

7. Design, implement and scale the influencer marketing strategy for the brand across relevant digital channels

8. Scale the influencer affiliate program and make it a self-sustaining revenue vertical for the brand

Experience & Qualification:

Mandatory:

1. A strong editorial instinct as well as an in-depth knowledge of the brand's successes and future direction coupled with a fluency in reading data-informed reports to help steer the brand's strategy and reach new audiences across platforms is essential

2. Excellent communications skills and natural team leader

3. Strong understanding of the nuances and best practices across the various digital and social platforms

4. Prior lead-content role with ability to think independently and collaborate in a team-oriented workplace

5. Proficiency/fluency in two or more languages is a plus

6. Minimum 6 years of experience in Content Writing, Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing

7. Must have completed graduation in Mass Communication / Journalism
