Content Head & Editor - Decor/Design Space (10-15 yrs)

- Head the creative and strategic direction across all platforms - print, online and social; on ground live event like the Symposium, brand presentations, design awards; the role includes editorial as well as branded content.

- Build a strong network of architects and contributors from across the world. Develop a specific content strategy with newsletters, online content that is particularly engaging for the architect community and high end consumers with an interest in design.

- Work closely with sales teams to pitch content ideas for online and tailor-made live events to brands in the network. Interface on all creatives with brand and oversee deliverables with internal teams. Develop a relationship with key brands, as well as local influencers.

- For a popular IP, curate programs for the Symposium, for Awards shows, for various brand led events that happen at the event. Work with brands, for smaller programming and activation in each of their spaces.

- Develop content strategy, manage editorial teams, as well as coordinate with cross functional teams within the organisation, produce shoots, represent the show at international trade events

- Participate in sales discussions, meetings and reviews with the team. Lead sales discussions where necessary, especially where we are selling a concept based proposal.

- Develop a program and work closely with production, marketing and art teams to execute plans

- Spearhead our Architect Engagement Program - from inviting architects to the show, to ensuring that they are engaged with. Curate engagement programs for our high networth clients together with marketing teams.

- Work closely with the digital editor for content monitor engagement on content, define strategy and goals for all content we are creating.

- Curate content for all printed and emailed collaterals, newsletters, letters, show directories, show guides, that go out before the event as per a pre-defined calendar. Give creative direction to art teams on design.

Symposium

- Conceptualise the symposium program, including the Speaker line-up, topics, moderators, time slots

- Manage Speaker confirmations, review presentations and on-site management

- Manage event flow, integrate sponsors and brand presentations where needed into the program,

- Oversee speaker travel coordination (with our travel desk and team on ground)

Brand Solutions

- To provide content and ideas for all projects in decor sphere and champion the pitches with the sales team. Projects include live events (awards shows, launches, dinners, exhibitions and more), collection launches, digital, shoots and more.

- Co-Create customised brand solutions working closely with Sales and the client.

- Attend meetings and briefings with clients

- Travel as and when needed

- Guest curation and management at partner events

Person :

We are looking for a person with 10-15 years of Editorial /content development experience in the D- cor / Design space. Someone with great communication, inter-personal and management skills and an eye for detail. Someone with a keen interest in design, architecture, interiors.

Ideal candidate should have led a content team across events and digital.

And should be able to build to quickly or to have a strong relationship with Architects and be able to engage with them and create programming around them.

The candidate must be open to meeting with clients and developing relationships with promoters and brand heads in the decor space.

Ideation and creation of new programs or customized programs around ID, working closely with cross functional teams, will be one of the core responsibilities of the person.
