Job Description - Content Development & Communications Professional

- The role requires working with multiple stakeholders on creating content for driving internal communications programs, as well as external messaging initiatives.

- It involves working independently with senior business leaders for understanding the objective of the proposed marcom campaign followed by content ideation and writing.

- The candidate should be able to work independently in managing stakeholder expectations and willing to put in effort to meet diverse expectations and project managing multiple communication programs on as-needed basis with agreed timelines.

- The position requires the candidate to have excellent writing skills to prepare multiple types of high-quality content including online mailers, newsletters, leadership messages, brochures, social media, advertisements and other marcom materials for circulating internally and to external audiences.

- The role also includes driving our staff campaigns via regular communications and online engagement activities on in-house portal. He/ she will need to reach out to teams for collating marcom related content and review/ edit it for publishing.

Indicative deliverables:

- Generate regular brand promotional content for marketing materials

- Edit thought leadership content received from business teams from language and reader friendly perspective

- Devise innovative messaging by developing content around initiatives like online surveys, mailer campaigns, contests, quizzes, info graphics, success stories, and client wins etc.

- Act as the custodian for marketing related content on the portal and updating these on the relevant portal pages as per schedule

Desired experience & skills

- Post Graduate professional, preferably in English/ Mass Communications

- 4 to 6 years of experience in corporate communications with at major focus on content development

- Research oriented with aptitude for quickly grasping technical concepts and simplify them reader friendly messaging

- Should be savvy in managing social media and other online platforms

- Strong interpersonal communication and excellent command of English

- Versatile writing skills for preparing persuasive content tailoring to different audiences

- Independent and confident in interacting with stakeholders

- Ability to think strategically and determine what the messaging should portray and connect with teams to discuss the communication

- Familiarity of professional services and consulting firm environment and working with cross functional teams is favorable
