Fixed Term Consulting Assignment with Deloitte Management Consulting


Deloitte Consulting is looking for people to join them on "Fixed Term Contract". This is a Contract to Hire role wherein the person will work with Deloitte on Fixed Term Contract and basis mutual agreement either before the expiry of the term or on expiry of the term, a permanent position may be offered by Deloitte.

 Initial contract will be of 6-8 months directly with Deloitte ( Deloitte payroll)

Role requires quick joining within 2-3 weeks if selected.

What is Fixed Term Contract ? How is it different from Temporary Contract?

- Fixed Term Contract (FTC) is a contract wherein the candidate is an employee of Deloitte for a fixed duration. For all practical purpose, you are an employee of Deloitte for the pre-defined duration and the candidate gets all the benefits of an employee including necessary skill training, access to all knowledge databases, experience certificate. The candidate is on the payroll of Deloitte during the duration of employment. At the end of the fixed duration, basis the performance, Deloitte may hire the candidate on permanent employment.

- As against this "Temporary Contract" is a contractual job wherein the candidate is not treated at par with the employees and is usually on the payroll of an outsourcing company with limited or no access to Deloitte learning resources, training, knowledge base, and professionals. At the end of the contractual period, the candidate does not get an opportunity to be employed by Deloitte as the candidate is already on the payroll of the outsourcing company with which Deloitte has a contract.

What kind of projects will I be working on?

You will be working on projects that can leverage your experience and can help you develop more skills. Deloitte will provide the required training and experienced Directors/Partners of the firms will guide you as needed for you to deliver on the projects

What will be the role?

- Consulting Strategy & Operations Consulting : Global Business Services

- The primary role is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients- competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable.

- The role will work to deliver projects in areas of cost optimization, offshoring strategy, outsourcing strategy, GBS set up and efficiency improvements for the client.


The responsibilities include :


- The role will also involve in reviewing the Record to Report & FP&A function of a client from centralization (shared services or outsourcing) - perspective and help setting up GBS or outsource

- The person is expected to have some transition management and complete experience of Record to Report or FP&A function in a multinational company

- Working with internal teams, and clients to Design and implement global operating models and best in class processes

- Thinking through shared services imperatives and levers and then working with client and internal teams to deliver the project.

- Transition the processes from multiple client locations into GBS or to outsourcing vendors

- Developing insights from the project implementation and integrating the findings to ensure achievement of objectives.

- Communicating analysis, recommendations and status updates in both written and oral communication with internal and client leadership.

- Work closely and collaboratively with teams to analyze client operations, gather data, brainstorm potential options, and make choices about their global operating models.

- Design and oversee the appropriate research and analysis to answer the questions set out in the project mandate.
