Description of the role:
1. Uncover new opportunities for our clients and prospects based on outside-in assessment of:
- Competitor moves
- Regulatory and policy changes
- Disruption from internet and other players
- Evolution of new technology (e.g. internet of things)
- Demographic shifts in target markets
- Recent changes in the clients capabilities or strategy
2. Distill best practices in immediate and other innovative industries
3. Execute rapid opportunity assessments and proof-of-concepts for clients
4. Help shape company's strategy through market and internal analysis
5. Help incubate new practice areas, capabilities, and market opportunities for the firm
6. Interview executives from the client side and industry experts
7. Conduct in-depth industry or company level financial analysis
8. Demonstrate thought leadership by publishing opinion papers expressing original points of view on the areas of research
9. Develop modules for problem solving, organizing workflows, restructuring or efficiency improvement etc. from ongoing engagements that are replicable in various other contexts
10. Collaborate closely with the consulting teams while engaging in the above
