Job Purpose:

- Within the ERS practice, the Internal Audit Services group is designed to take a risk based, integrated audit approach to internal audit services in order to help clients improve performance and operating efficiency. We work closely and collaboratively with our clients, providing the full range of internal audit services-helping to design a strategic plan for internal audit, developing standard operating procedures, Quality assessment reviews, reengineering existing departments, providing specialized resources or outsourcing the entire internal audit function.

- A significant part of the services of the Internal Audit service line is in Risk Assessment, Information Technology Internal Audit, Contract Risk and Compliance, Quality Assessment Services, Sarbanes Oxley Compliance and other services.

- Internal and Concurrent audit of treasury operations

- The audit involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the entity's internal policies pertaining to treasury operations. An illustrative list of products that would be covered as part of the audit:

- Fixed income - Commercial Papers, Certificate of Deposits, Bonds etc.

- Money market - Call / Notice / Term borrowing and lending, Repo and reverse repo, Liquidity Adjustment facility etc.

- Forex - Cash, tom, spot and forwards

- Derivatives - Options, swaps, swap options etc. Equity

- Compliance reviews

Review compliance with various regulatory guidelines across financial sector covering areas like bank treasury operations, capital markets, trade finance and retail banking through an integrated approach resulting in reduction of the overall cost of compliance

- Process Benchmarking against industry best practices

Conducting a current state assessment of processes instituted by the entity and comparing them against the processes followed by other market participants. Based on the outcome of this analysis, opportunities for improvement are suggested in line with the leading industry practices.

Travel:

It's important to note that this role requires travel including local and travel within the country as required by the firm. This may include medium term deployment to cities within India as required by the firm.
