Consultant/Senior Consultant - Finance - Project Management - BFSI Domain (3-8 yrs)
The individual should possess the following core skills:
Core Skills :
- Strong understanding of retail banking / corporate banking / wealth management business models (e.g. cash management, payments, loan approval process, disbursement of loans / advances etc. bank guarantee, letter of credit etc.)
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies
Role / Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include project management, governance, communications, compliance, capacity planning and management, reporting, training and travel management, assistance in hiring, desk management, support administrative requirements for the entire department, distribution list maintenance
- Prepare against all KPI's necessary in preparedness of Audit and ensure complete adherence to Compliance policies and regulations
- Involves benefits tracking, including cost reductions, Monthly MI Financials and Headcount updates
- Shared folder access management
- SharePoint Access Management, maintenance and development
- Produce senior management reports, presentation and dashboards for regular reporting
- Experience in Stakeholder Management and provide continuous administrative support to stakeholders across different regions
- Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support execution of programs at pace and with minimum conflict
- Provide timely, accurate, analysis of the progress of the change initiatives, the impact on the business and suggest remedial measures as necessary
- Produce regular documentation of the processes and timely updates to senior management
- Document minutes & actions and follow through with stakeholders
- Publish dashboards, newsletters and stakeholders reports on a periodic basis
- Coordinate governance framework for portfolio of work streams,
Skills / Experience Required :
- Project management experience of 3 years+ in Banking, Financial Services industry
- MBA-Finance / CA / CFA / Cost and Management Accountant
- Professional qualifications in Project Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince 2 will be an added advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Project Management tools namely Clarity, Open work bench
- Analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills along with written good communication and project management skills are a must.
- Project & Stakeholder Management experience is essential
- Self-Motivated, Self-Starter and should have attention to details
- Ability to work under limited supervision and guidance
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
