Consultant - SAP ABAP - IT (3-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

The SAP ABAP Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP applications using the ABAP programming language. They will collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of ABAP programs within SAP systems. The consultant will also be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing ABAP code, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.

- Design, develop, and implement customized SAP solutions using ABAP programming language.

- Create and maintain ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflow objects.

- Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to identify and resolve issues.

- Optimize and enhance existing ABAP code for better performance and efficiency.

- Work with SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP BW, etc.

- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP developments with other SAP components.

- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations by adapting ABAP code as needed.

- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure the supportability of developed solutions.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, development tools, and best practices.

- Assist in the training of junior developers and support team members.
