Job description for "Consultant - Projects" position

The detailed scope of work of the Consultant

(i) Solicit new projects from proponents and evaluate such new projects for viability and fit with the objectives.

(ii) Rvaluate preliminary business cases put forth by project proponents outlining the project scope, its rationale and high level cost benefit analysis on the basis of information provided by the project proponents

(iii) Prepare the TOR for appointment of consultants / agencies for preparation of necessary feasibility studies, detailed project reports, EIA, land acquisition proposals and other studies as may be needed

(iv) Prepare the bidding documents (RFQ / RFP / Concession Agreement etc.) based on model documents

(v) Manage the procurement process, for appointment of consultants / agencies for preparation of necessary feasibility studies, detailed project reports, EIA, and other project related studies as may be needed

(vi) Run the process for selection of contractor, PPP concessionaire etc. (viii) take up any other related activity till the project is finally awarded

(vii) Any other activity as decided by Competent Authority of the org
