Client: A Premium Firm in Management Consulting


What you will do :

In this client-facing role, you'll play a key part in driving process improvement, delivering successful business results, and developing broad based strategies for a diverse set of clients. Examples of the type of work associated with this role could include driving strategic sourcing to capture value, defining new operating model by optimizing source-to-pay processes through digitally-enabled procurement transformation programs, designing new organizational structure and reporting relationships, developing future-focused capabilities and mindsets, and/or instituting rigorous governance and performance-management methods.

- You will play an active role in problem solving for clients including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing, and conducting analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.

- Delivering procurement advice to local authority clients during project delivery, including but not limited to: development of business cases, procurement strategy, evaluation criteria, tender documentation;

What you should have :

- Broad experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply management (e.g., global sourcing strategies, cross functional category management, RfQ processes and negotiations, talent development and capability building)

- Knowledge of the full value chain, including purchasing/supply management, product development, manufacturing, lean, etc.

- Industry expertise in basic materials, consumer packaged goods, chemicals, financial services, healthcare, high-tech, oil & gas, or pharmaceuticals is desired

- Demonstrated track record of assessing and driving transformational improvements

Qualifications needed :

Education - Graduation + Post Graduation (MBA).

- Consulting background is preferred

- Have implemented GEP, Coupa, Ariba Source to Procure modules for process companies

- Extraordinary written and verbal (English) communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of seniority within the organization required, knowledge of other languages is a definite plus.

- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and quality-minded

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and Powerpoint are required

- Experience with Knowledge Management practices is desirable

- Exposure to projects and initiatives on large scale, spanning multiple locations is desirable

- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, multi-cultural environment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
