Consultant - Power/Utility Analytics - KPO (2-4 yrs)
We are looking for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience, to work in our Analytics Consulting practice in Mumbai.
Candidates will work as an integral part of business analytics teams in India alongside clients and consultants in the U.S. performing high-end analysis and providing business recommendations to project teams.
Education B.Tech. /B.E. /Master's Degree / M.Phil . / MBA from reputed institute (s)
Required Skills:
Successful candidates will have demonstrated the following skills and characteristics:
- Strong quantitative aptitude along with good academic and professional background
- Prior experience of having worked in a consulting/analytics environment, preferably in Power or Utilities, Compatible Units or Gas Pipeline maintenance.
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis software like R, SAS
- Knowledge of data mining tools like Alteryx
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java etc.
- Knowledge of visualization tools like the tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, Qlikview etc.
- Team player and an ability to engage well with international clients
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on project and analysis plans under the guidance of Project Manager
- Interact with and advise consultants/clients in US as a subject matter expert to formalize data sources, understand data, acquire and use relevant business knowledge
- Develop analytics path to align with overall project objective
- Manage large data sets; apply basic statistical techniques to understand data
- Validate analysis & process with consultants/clients in US
- Analyze, develop recommendations, and conduct scenario testing analysis
- Ability to build storylines and make presentations
- A significant contribution to knowledge and firm building activities
