Consultant - Direct & Indirect Tax - Advisory Services

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Advisory Services:

- Provide expert advice on direct and indirect tax matters to the company to Develop tax strategies to optimize the tax position,

- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws.

- Assist the company with tax audits and represent them in front of tax authorities.

- Regular liasoning with company's tax consultant.

Tax Planning:

- Conduct tax planning for the company, identifying opportunities for tax savings.

- Advise on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

- Prepare detailed tax reports and summaries for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and Chartered Account. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax consulting or a related field.

- Proven experience with both direct and indirect taxes.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
