Consultant Business Strategy & Growth
Scope :
Responsible for identifying, developing, and driving business level strategies that create opportunities for revenue and market share growth. The role will focus on the development of new market initiatives through research, analysis, and presentation of financial/analytical modeling for M&A, Business Development and other corporate initiatives in support of business objectives. The role involves M&A, Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, Corporate Strategy etc
This is a position for someone who has eye for detail & is entrepreneurial, resourceful and proactive. The ideal candidate will exhibit judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Will be able to comfortably interact and communicate with senior executives of target companies, strategic alliances, and potential partners. In addition, this individual will foster and maintain the necessary internal relationships including the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities :
- Assist to develop strategic plans and road maps for growth
- Identify, recommend, negotiate, structure and obtain internal approvals for acquisitions of potential business targets.
- Work with business, external advisers and consultants to evaluate and conduct complex financial and risk analyses of business opportunities.
- Effective organization, management and completion of due diligence projects.
- Communicate with investment bankers, brokers and consultants for acquisition opportunities.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments, trends, competitive environment.
- Guide and support post acquisition integration.
Qualifications :
- MBA (leading institutes) and / or Chartered Accountant. Meritorious educational background
- 6-8 years post qualification experience of specifically in responsibilities for this role
- Entrepreneurial having good business initiative with experience of finance-related valuation and Corporate Development, Mergers and Acquisitions and strategic planning.
- Demonstrable track record of completing and integrating acquisitions.
- Proven project management expertise.
- Effective and efficient problem solving and analytical skills
- Commercial and financial acumen and attention to detail.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct market, industry, and company research.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Ability to develop financial models and performs evaluation of target companies.
- Must demonstrate maturity, high integrity, energy and team spirit.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Open to travel
